Jakarta City in the Night

Some tourists might occupy the whole daylight to travel around and having asleep at night just like that.  But this will be your first time visiting Jakarta, don't you want to see more and more ?   So that, instead of dreaming on your bed, try to discover night life in Jakarta.   Those could be bars, pub, local and international restaurants, life music cafe, cinemas, book stores, or even discotheques, family karaoke, night club karaoke, etc.

In every 4 and 5 star hotel in T-area (please read my other post about T-area), you will find standard bar or pub, life music lounge, and perhaps cafe and discotheque.  When you visit Jakarta in fasting month until Idul Fitri or Eid Mubarak Day,  you will find that entertaining places outside hotel areas will be closed at 00.00, while in other occasion they will be closed until 02.00 or 03.00 in the morning.  That rule is implemented in order to respect the Moslems to do their fasting peacefully.
